The International Scientific Conference “Contemporary Serbian Folkloristics 13” took place in Tršić from Septermber 29 to October 1, 2023. At the opening, the participants were greeted by prof. Dr. Danijela Popović Nikolić, president of the Association of Serbian Folklorists, Aleksandra Purić, director of the Scientific and educational cultural center “Vuk Karadžić” in Tršić and Snežana Nešković Simić, director of the Culture Center “Vuk Karadžić” in Loznica. Plenary lectures were held by prof. Dr. Ljiljana Pešikan Ljuštanović and Prof. Dr. Jasmina Jokić. Folklorists, ethnologists, ethnomusicologists and anthropologists from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Russia, Poland and Ukraine participated in the conference.
