Supported by the Ministry of Culture of Serbia and the Center for ICH at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, the Association of Serbian Folklorists has organized an educational program about the intangible cultural heritage—Together in Safeguarding the Intangible Cultural Heritage: Raising Local Communities’ Capacities (Stage Three).
The lecturers were experienced collaborators from the Center for ICH: Danijela Fillipović, ethnologist, the Center for ICH coordinator; Smiljana Djordjević Belić, PhD, Principal Research Fellow, Institute for Literature and Art in Belgrade; Danka Lajić Mihajlović, PhD, ethnomusicologist, Principal Research Fellow, Institute of Musicology SASA; Zdravko Ranisavljević, PhD, ethnocoreology scholar, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Music in Belgrade; Miloš Matić, PhD, Chief Curator, Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade.
Since the main topic of the seminar was related to the research aimed at identifying and documenting ICH elements, interviews with tradition bearers (narrators and accordion players) were organized too.
We would like to thank both the lecturers and the attendees!
