The educational part of the Association of Serbian Folklorists’ project entitled “Together in the safeguarding of the ICH: raising the capacity of local communities”, financially supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, took place in Tršić, November 17–19, 2023. The collaborators of the Center for the Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, as well as the Cultural Center “Vuk Karadžić” from Loznica gave their contribution to the project. The educational program, tailored for the PhD students of the corresponding humanities disciplines and experts in culture, was attended by 24 participants from various cities in Serbia, and the team of lecturers included Danka Lajić Mihajlović, PhD (principal research fellow of the SASA Musicology Institute), Smiljana Đorđević Belić, PhD (senior research associate of the Institute for Literature and Art), Biljana Sikimić, PhD (principal research fellow of the SASA Institute for Balkan Studies), Zdravko Ranisavljević, PhD (assistant professor of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade) and Danijela Filipović (coordinator of the Center for the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Serbia in the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade).
